Portable Safety
Across Borders

A Global Safety Score travels with the individual. A person who built a clean safety record in Trinidad does not lose that history when they move to the UK or Canada. Meridian aggregates signals from 140+ countries into a single portable profile that any participating institution can verify in real time - regardless of where the individual currently resides.

The Coverage
Gap Is the Market

The entire global risk industry runs on models that were built for North America and Western Europe. 89% of safety risk models cover fewer than 20 countries. Every institution that needs to assess risk on a person from Jamaica, Ghana, or Bangladesh is guessing. Meridian turns that gap into a data product - and every institution with cross-border exposure is a potential customer.

Government API
Integration

Meridian integrates directly with government identity systems, court records, and public safety databases in participating jurisdictions. CARICOM provides 7 active API integrations already in production. Each new government integration expands the coverage and accuracy of the model for all existing users. The network effect compounds every deployment.

Three Buyer
Markets in One

Governments use Meridian for border management and risk flagging. Insurers use it for underwriting decisions on individuals from underrepresented markets. Financial institutions use it for KYC enhancement and correspondent banking compliance. The same underlying score serves all three - one data infrastructure, three distinct revenue channels, all growing as global migration increases.

CARICOM First,
Global by Design

Meridian launched with the Caribbean as the primary test market for a specific reason: CARICOM nations have high rates of cross-border movement, strong government digitisation appetite, and represent the exact profile of populations that global models exclude. The Caribbean deployment is the proof of concept that scales to Africa, Southeast Asia, and South America.

Privacy by
Architecture

Meridian does not store personal identifiers in the score. The score is a derived signal - institutions query against an anonymised profile and receive a risk assessment, not raw personal data. This design enables compliance with data protection frameworks across jurisdictions simultaneously. The individual controls what gets shared. The institution gets the signal it needs. No central identity database.
